We visited on a Friday night, tasty food cooked fresh and piping hot, friendly staff. Definitely worth booking!

i heard about suriya’s and i decided to go and witness myself! i took my wife and my daughter last night, it was amazing! food was delicious my wife fall in love with prawns and squid starters, suriya himself took time to speak to us and make sure we got everything we need, even gave us options to customise our meals! staff was really nice! highly recommend. thank u!

I had such a great time at this restaurant! Being Thai, I can honestly say the food is spot on and truly delicious! I brought my Japanese friend along, and she absolutely loved both the food and the vibe. Thai squid was a must-try – so delicious – and the pork skewer with sticky rice was such a perfect combo. The chef and the staff were really warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. It’s definitely a lovely spot to visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

So delicious I didn’t want it to end! The massaman beef curry was the best I’ve ever had, and this is a dish I order very often in Thai restaurants all over the world. Incredible flavor. The service here is also excellent. An outstanding little restaurant in Brighton and one of the best hidden gems in the UK.

Go here for dinner! The tamarind duck was one of the most delicious meals I've had in 6 weeks of being in the UK. Suriya's had excellent table service, delicious food, and extremely reasonable prices. Next time I'm in Brighton I will be coming back.

This is a hidden gem of a Thai restaurant in Brighton. Not in the city centre but well worth the journey to East Kemptown which is close to the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Best bus is the number 7 which stops just after the hospital and then it’s a 5 minute walk to the restaurant. It’s a small place and booking is recommended at peak times but it is well worth the journey. The best service - friendly and truly professional. A family business dedicated in looking after its customers. What really impressed me was the variety of Thai dishes. The menu had grills and steamed dishes that I have never seen in Brighton before. Usually it is noodles, and a few curries but the selection here is incredible and so excellently cooked. Loved the Papaya salad. The marinated chicken was not spicy. It is their signature dish and highly recommended. They also do take away. It is licensed with very reasonably priced wines and Thai beer as well as a selection of stronger alcohol. If you are prepared to walk or get a bus or taxi to this gem, you will not be disappointed. Equally important is the lovely ambience. Truly relaxing experience. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, especially the pork skewers, which were perfectly grilled and flavorful. Paired with sticky rice, it was the perfect combination. The Tom Zeap ribs had a great balance of spicy and sour, while the beef Massaman curry was rich, creamy, and full of tender beef. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was friendly. Overall, a great place for Thai food—I’d definitely come back. In fact, if I could, I’d eat here every week! I’d definitely recommend it as well.

Delicious 'proper' Thai food - beautifully presented; lovely friendly staff; great ambiance, very reasonable prices. One of my favourite restaurants in Brighton! I really appreciated the way they seated a number of couples on tables for 4 last time we were there, instead of squashing us on little tables close together, like many restaurants do. This really shows that they care more about their customers comfort and enjoyment than making a huge profit. Highly recommended.
